CRAFTING AN EFFECTIVE WRITER: Tools of the Trade

I love learning a new thing as long as I'm interested and it helps me to build a new skill or advance my skill. Writing is a skill that I need to keep to learn and learn, especially when I write in my second language. That is why I'm interested to take a free course Crafting an Effective Writer: Tools of the Trade held by Coursera.

The format of the course includes video teaching sessions by the professors with real students (as you see the attached video in the end of this post), writing exercises and activities, discussions with faculty and tutor team members, and opportunities for meet up sessions using Blackboard Collaborate and/or Google Hangouts. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a statement of accomplishment including the students final writing sample form the course.

The course is five weeks long and will require about 4-5 hours per week of the time to complete. The instructors: Lawrence (Larry) Barkley and Ted Blake from Mt. San Jacinto College.
