Here Without You

I was stunned with this music video while I was going to start editing my manuscript. Yes, I have finished my translating on last Thursday (before I left home in the afternoon with my husband and my girls for Thanksgiving dinner to New Jersey) and since then I could not wait to finish editing it soon.

This music video reminded me when I had my lovely fiance. I loved him so much and now I miss that feeling I ever had. I'm sure you will understand how having that feelling if you ever falled in love with someone, especially if you live far away from him. And this video brought me when I was in that situation--the best love I ever had with someone who lived thousands miles away from my country.

I think I should turn on this music video before I continue writing the 4th chapter of my second novel (romance novel) next year--probably I will play it every time before I write. Who knows??? It has inspired me and I'm sure it will influence me in writing the story. Really.

Pictures from Book Shows in California

I would like to thank to Al Galasso, Director of NABE (North American Bookdealers Exchange) who had sent me four pictures from two last book shows in California as you see below.

I have been glad and comfortable to join as NABE member since last spring this year and finally won an award for my first novel. Al has been easy to have conversation via email with his members, including me. As a member I don't have any uncomfortable feeling if I have something to tell about our business. He has made everything easy to reach. If you ever wrote a book or are writing a book now, you might be interested to join as a member there. First Gold for the Dragon Boat

Hi guys, I still have cough since last week but today I feel much better. I am glad I have lot of rest during this week, only a day for coming to my work but everyday I have no absent to do my translation and my online tasks. Slowly but regularly. So, everything is just fine.

I also would like to thank you for my family and friends in Indonesia who had supported me in their prayers for my son who hospitalized many days in hospital and several days ago he had come home already. The miracle came as we showed our faith in HIM. Thank you. I will keep in touch with you via FB when I really feel good to continue my communication with all of you via FB.

This afternoon when I was doing my work at KabarIndonesia, I edited and published a good news from a citizen reporter who reported the Dragon Boat from Indonesia won the first place in Asean Games XVI in China. They reached 1000 meters for only 3 minutes 32.016 seconds.

Pictures and Video of Obama's Visit to Indonesia

At the time when Indonesians are celebrating their Heroes Day--the anniversary of a key battle between Indonesia and British forces, just months after Indonesia's Proclamation of Independence--on Wednesday, November 10, Obama visited Indonesia and had a chance to give his speech and lecture in the morning at University of Indonesia. Many students and people who would like to come, they had been waiting since at 6 AM to let them entered the road to the building where the event would be held.

Resting Time

Hello Guys,

It has been more than a week I didn't blog here. If I may say, I had had little bit resting time in my mind although I still kept doing my online activities and kept translating several chapters.

If the next several weeks I seem not too active in blogging, it will be because I have to finish my translating soon and get ready to edit all my chapters. At the same time, I have to prepare for online writing course that will be held next year. It seems I will be busier during the end of this year but I'm happy because my book in Indonesian version will be available soon in Indonesia next year. There is a huge celebration I may confess if this book will present and be welcomed by many Indonesians there.

One thing in my mind during my resting time was about the Merapi Eruption news. I'm sad everytime hearing the bad news from Indonesia, almost every month/several months there is always something happen. Some friends at work asked me about my family. I said that all my family in Java were fine. They live far away from Merapi's location. But still, I'm so sad seeing the pictures and news about the people who have lost their homes, family, friends, etc.
