Sunday News

It has been so hard since I have had morning sickness. Every morning I have to fight with this condition so I can keep eating my breakfast and lunch. My morning sickness will decrease after around 4 or 5 PM. The worst time when everytime I have to go to work, I felt like I am going to hell - though I never know how it feels. I really want to take absent but if I do it many times, they will fire me (he he . . .)

Well, at least I have heard a good news that on last Friday, my husband checked the result of my first blood test. It showed that I am really pregnant and my pregnancy has been six weeks already. This news gave me little bit happy. I just wait for the second blood result next Monday and then I will see my new doctor in the next day. I really pray my pregnancy will be fine if they will ask me to do USG test.

My happiness stimulated me to give more energy to write several things that I had scheduled several months ago, sending more my writings for upcoming Chicken Soup for the Soul books. Finally yesterday I had finished two short writings with first themed was for Christmas and the second theme was for Devotional for Moms. This morning I also have finished my third short writing and has been sent with a theme about The Joy of being A New Moms.

Yesterday, when I was looking for the bible verse to complete my second writing, I found a good link source of Bible Verses for Parents. My choice was
Proverbs 29:17 "Discipline your son, and he will give you peace; he will bring delight to your soul."

Now, I'm happier. My husband always takes care of me in serving foods whenever he has time. This really helps me so much when I don't really feel good at all.

I feel better today so I can finish many online works. I thank to my husband who has served me food, drink and snacks. I think I will keep him as my husband (ha ha... just kidding. He always teases me the same thing to me. He is a funny person sometimes).

My Upcoming Novel: Book Review Campaign

This morning I got an email from Marketing Team, meanwhile my book is still in the post production stage, I should choose at least five media (newspapers) for Book Review Campaign. From 27 given media list located in Pennsylvania, I am interested to pick eight media as you can see them below. Then I have to choose five from them. And my choices are: Philadelphia Inquirer, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, The Morning Call , City Paper , and Reading Eagle.

I propose to launch this BRC on Monday, March 1, 2010. I wonder what they will response.

Meanwhile now, they are preparing to do Press Release campaign for around 180 other media including newspapers, magazines, radios and televisions nationally (USA) and 200.000 email campaigns.

I would like to give my special thanks to my talented friend, Mien Setiawan from Semarang (Indonesia) who has helped me to redesign my E-book cover, Poem Anthology as you can see the new cover design below. I like it so much.

Actually I asked his help for one purpose: to celebrate the International Cancer Day and Valentine's Day, I was going to run the fundraiser to support The Research Cancer Program. Because we both were very busy, and I was not feeling good either (morning sickness), I could not run this event as I had scheduled. I promise I will make it one day soon at the right time when I have more time and when I have been feeling good or better. Now I have to give more concentration what will happen with my pregnancy and for my upcoming published novel that I'm sure it will take a lot of energy and attention. Also yesterday evening I have done to do blood test and I have to repeat it again on Wednesday. Then on Friday I have to meet my Midwife to see the blood test result. Now I have been trying to calm my heart. What will happen, I will let it happens. Everything is in God's way. Please, pray for me! Thank you.

VIDEO: The Way You Love Me

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!

I'm sure most everybody won't miss this special day to show their love to their family and friends.

Today I would like to thank to many friends via Facebook, SMS, emails and comments to wish me Happy Birthday and Happy Valentines Day, especially for the new pregnancy. I haven't made a formal announcement here yet because I haven't seen my doctor yet. The huge snow and finding the right time also make everything has to wait. I hope next week, on Wednesday or Thursday I will get an appointment to see her and make sure my pregnancy is fine, nothing to worry about as right now I still have spotting since last Thursday, February 11, on my Birthday. I have searched some topics engaging with spotting and bleeding during pregnancy period. Although I understand it, I'm still worried, meanwhile since last Monday I have started to have morning sickness though it is still in the low level.

Well, I think I should not to worry too much. I believe God will take care everything. Now, I just wait for my children to come and celebrate my Birthday and Valentines day. I won't cook big food anymore. Simple, easy and delicious food have been prepared since yesterday. I also have a special Valentines Gift for every member in the family -- my husband and my four childrens.

I also would like to thank to Mariuca, Henny, Blue Jasmine and Blanca who have left their comments in my lasy post. Congratulations to Mariuca as the first person who give the right comment/ answer. Please, wait the announcement next month what a special gift I would like to send to you.

To celebrate this special day, I attach one of my favorite songs below, titled "The Way You Love Me" and its lyric. This special song is a special gift to my husband. It reminds me when we still lived far eachother, thousand miles away, before we married, and almost everyday he called me, sometimes several times a day. Crazy!!! he, he... But that is a love, sometimes you never know what you have done because you are falling in love with someone who has stolen your heart. Oh, I really miss having feelings in that moment. Now we meet everyday. He doesn't need to spend a lot of money to call me everyday but I'm sure he has to be ready to spend more money for another new family member who will come to the world in the next nine months, ha, ha, ha, . . .!!!!

Special Things in My Birthday

Today is my birthday. Guess, what the special things I would like to share with you, guys?

First, I thank God, finally my novel will be realesed soon in the next couple weeks (maybe in the beginning of the next month or maybe earlier). I thought it would be my best birthday gift I ever give to myself. So I have decided to hire a manager for this need. Who is he? Well, I attach his photo here and let me introduce his name: Gregory Abbott. If anybody would need more info regarding book signing, interview or other events engaging with my novel, please leave a message here and it will be forwarded to him directly. We got another huge snow yesterday. It is over 1 ft. Now, it's my husband time to solve the snow outside.

First Huge Snowstorm in 2010

What a big snowstrom in the beginning of the year! Since last night it has been snowing and till this morning (9.54 a.m.) at my place. My husband had to stay at his work and probably till tomorrow he can go home. Yesterday night around 8.10 p.m. I went home and drove on the thick snow for the first time in my life. I was very nervous, but seeing there were still many cars around, it made me feel much better. I arrived at home around 30 minutes (17 minutes late than it used to be) with the speed around 15-25 miles/ hour and most of it around 15 miles/ hour. I was very happy when I arrived at home safely and then was worried for my husband. But knowing he safely arrived at his work in 2 hours of driving, it made me happy.

I predict we have had around more 30 inches already right now. Can you imagine if it doesn't stop till tomorrow? Maybe my small and slim body will sink in the snow, he, he . . . Well, I will call off this afternoon not to come for work but at the other hand, it will help my online works run smoothly.
